About Farzad
"Throughout my career as an educator, I have placed the well-being and academic success of my students at the center of my teaching philosophy, both within the classroom and beyond it. I strive to ensure that every student genuinely absorbs and internalizes the material, rather than simply memorizing it for an exam. When certain topics prove particularly challenging for a student, I make it a priority to dedicate additional time during office hours to work through the material individually, ensuring that no student is left behind. "Farzad Shafiei Dizaji holds graduate degrees from the University of Virginia and has served as a mathematics instructor at UVA's Applied Mathematics Center for more than seven years.
