About Libby

I enjoy teaching on a 1-1 or small group basis to be able to give tailored support and advice. If you feel your child has the same needs as a peer close to them, please get in touch to arrange fun, effective group sessions!

About the lesson

I have over 5 years experience of tutoring English language and literature and 3 years experience working closely with children in school settings. I achieved a 1st class degree in English literature in 2019 and have tutored children aged 6-16 regularly, including the GCSE curriculum.

I have recently graduated from university achieving a 1st class degree in Speech and Language Therapy and I am now in a position to offer sessions to work on a number of speech and language concerns with children aged 4-16.

I have over 5 years experience working with children with additional needs in both school and home settings and have extensive experience working alongside autistic individuals to achieve their goals.

I will use a 30-45 minute session to better understand the needs and goals of the child and family and will write measurable targets that are individual to each child. Learning sessions will be 45-60 minutes depending on the child’s ability, brain breaks may be factored in to this time if they are needed.

Finally, I like to keep sessions interesting and fun for children so will incorporate individual interests in to each session alongside curriculum goals.
