From helping my friends with homework to teaching preschoolers with a range of learning aid requirements, I feel confident in my ability to establish a professional yet unique relationship with any student I have the chance of teaching. Coming from a nonprofit school for children on the autistic spectrum, I have recognized that learning looks different for every student. I truly believe in finding an approach that is tailored to each individual.
I would begin each lesson by first going over what is already being understood by the student, and making sure those concepts are fully grasped. Then we would try to pinpoint the concerns together and find an approach so that the student is excited to learn and overcome their challenge.
I am comfortable tutoring students in primary, middle, and high school. My s areas of expertise include math and science.
