About Isabel

Hi student, I am here to guide you in learning Spanish. I am equipped with skills and knowledge, including ten years of Spanish classes, a bachelor's degree in Spanish language, and a college course on education. These skills and my experiences, including studying abroad in Spain, helping other students in my classes, and tutoring Spanish speakers in English, give me the confidence and knowledge to help and guide you in your Spanish learning. I am very flexible and can adapt to all of your learning needs. Vamos- Let's learn Spanish!

About the lesson

As a recent Spanish student of many years, I know how it feels to learn a new language. I have taken an education course so I have the skills to create informative and fun study tools and PowerPoints. Over the years of my Spanish education, I have mastered Spanish reading, writing, and listening. I have the skills to help beginner to intermediate Spanish learners. A typical lesson of mine would start with an informative and engaging PowerPoint followed by a worksheet that I will check at the next lesson. As a recent student, I know that watching movies and videos is very helpful in learning a topic, especially languages (and fun too) so we will do that after a couple of meetings. If you are in a class, I can help you with homework at the end of the tutor session. I took a translation class my senior year, so I can be your Google translator if you are writing something for class.
