I am a dedicated and results-driven science educator with 5 years of full-time private tutoring experience (2010–2015), having coached students across a broad spectrum of levels — from N-Level and O-Level through to JC H1/H2, International Baccalaureate (IB) SL/HL, and IGCSE Sciences.
With a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Macquarie University (Sydney) and a Diploma in Biotechnology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, I bring deep subject-matter expertise particularly in Biology, Chemistry, and the Physical Sciences. Before my tutoring career, I served as a Regular Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), where my responsibilities included training and mentoring officer cadets at the Officer Cadet School (OCS) — an experience that sharpened my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and inspire high performance under pressure.
My teaching philosophy is centred on building genuine understanding rather than rote memorisation, equipping students with the analytical skills and confidence they need to excel in examinations and beyond.
