About Aman
About Me
I am Aman Mithun, a graduate in Life Sciences with an enthusiasm for teaching and a strong belief that education should go beyond rote learning and memorization.
My approach to teaching is centered on developing an affinity for scientific thinking—encouraging students to observe, question, reason, and ultimately use knowledge for the common good. I want my students to develop the confidence to question the world around them and understand that almost every aspect of life can be explored through curiosity, evidence, and scientific reasoning.
As a teacher, my goal is not simply to make students academically sharp. I also want to help them develop the character, curiosity, empathy, and intellectual independence needed to navigate today's world.
I particularly enjoy teaching Life Sciences because it is inherently interdisciplinary. Biology connects concepts from chemistry, physics, mathematics, environmental science, psychology, and even society. My aim is to help students see these connections rather than learn each concept in isolation. By connecting ideas and introducing students to reliable and relevant developments in biology, I hope to make learning more meaningful, applicable, and exciting.
Ultimately, I want my students to leave my classes not just knowing what to learn, but knowing how to think, how to question, and how to connect knowledge to the world around them.
