About Kelvin

As a maths graduate myself I want to teach maths because I believe it builds not only problem-solving skills, but also confidence and clarity of thought. Helping students move from confusion to understanding is incredibly rewarding, and I enjoy showing them that maths isn't just about numbers-it's a powerful tool for thinking, reasoning, and making sense of the world.

About the lesson

Mathematics can be challenging-but with the right guidance, it can also become deeply rewarding and even enjoyable. As a private maths tutor, my approach is centred on patience, clarity, and connection. I aim to demystify maths by breaking complex ideas into simple, manageable steps, while always encouraging students to think critically and ask questions freely.
