About Lydia

I'm Lydia, I'm 23 and I'm from Durham in the north east of England. I would like to offer my services as a tutor because I had a tutor at GCSE and I found it extremely useful. I did a year abroad studying in southern Germany and working in a language school in southern France. Following graduation, I worked as an English language assistant in Ulm, southern Germany. Here, I assisted in English lessons by helping students with English vocab and grammar, and with their speaking skills. During this time I also developed my own language skills and knowledge of the culture as I spoke German with my colleagues and flatmates and the students at the school would also share stories with me.

About the lesson

I can help with homework tasks such as reading and writing, as well as vocab. I can also help with speaking exam preparation and conversation classes. Note: I am recently TEFL qualified, so I have some understanding of teaching methods
