About Meg
Hi! My name is Meg, and I'm a very passionate creative writer. My favorite thing to do is craft stories and characters in my head! I fell in love with writing in fourth grade, when my friend and I decided to write a story about a purple monster together.
I have been writing poetry and short stories consistently since high school, and I earned my Bachelor's of Arts in English from Northeastern University. I have taught creative writing as a Professor's Assistant on a summer writing program in Tokyo, Japan.
I believe every person has the ability to form a meaningful relationship with writing, and I want to help you get there.

I've always felt that the way writing is taught in school is incredibly reductive and surface-level. Instead of focusing primarily on results, I focus on the PROCESS, the practice of writing, using methods of the surrealists and the absurdists. I want to help you find joy in the time creating, to develop your own personal and intimate relationship with writing. It shouldn't just be about learning how to write essays. It should help us learn more about who we are, and help us have fun along the way!
