During our sessions, you can expect professionalism, constructive feedback, an atmosphere that fosters creative thinking, and piercing questions that make you think outside the box.
As someone who has composed application essays for universities all over the U.S., I know what admission officers are looking for, especially in the age of A.I.

I think of myself as a facilitator, not a ghostwriter. The genius is already in the student. I’m just here to help bring it into the world, not to write it for them.
Most college essays are fine. That’s the problem. They are as fine as they’re forgettable. “Just ok” won’t cut it. Vanilla writing never made admission officers say “I want you in my school”. Together, we’ll craft the essay that makes getting accepted a no-brainer.
My own application essays got me into Computer Science and Informatics at the University of Washington and a Master's in Biological Data Science at Arizona State University. I've also helped other students get admitted to Grand Canyon University.
I'm not trying to turn you into the "perfect applicant." That’s boring, and admissions folks can smell the inauthenticity. I'd rather find what's actually interesting about you, and help you say it clearly.
I’ll ask about your experiences, get to the heart of how you want to present yourself, and craft the best way to express that. I’ll meet you where you are. That might mean brainstorming from scratch, ruthlessly deleting the unnecessary fluff you feel attached to, or polishing the final version line by line. We'll explore the principles of composition, rhetoric, and persuasion. Either way, it is your essay, your voice.
I mostly work with high school students applying to U.S. colleges. I’ve been successful in educational systems across three different continents, so I enjoy helping international students and Spanish-speaking applicants understand how to present themselves to American universities. I speak Spanish, so we talk through ideas in whichever language feels more natural to you.
¿Prefieres trabajar en español? No hay problema. Podemos pensar juntos en español y luego darle forma al ensayo en inglés.
