About Adelanke
My name is Adelanke, and I am deeply passionate about helping students discover confidence and clarity in learning Mathematics. With a background in Petroleum Engineering and as an MBA candidate in Finance & Strategy at the University of Sheffield, I bring both technical precision and strategic thinking into my teaching approach. I’ve always believed that Mathematics, when taught with patience and the right guidance, can transform from an intimidating subject into an empowering tool. My goal is to make complex ideas simple, relatable, and applicable to real-world problems—so my students not only learn but truly understand. I believe every student learns differently, so my tutoring approach is highly personalised. I focus on identifying each learner’s strengths, gaps, and learning style to create a clear, engaging path to understanding complex mathematical concepts. Each session typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s focus and goals. I encourage interaction, constant feedback, and progressive assessments to track improvement and build confidence. As a Graduate of Petroleum Engineering currently pursuing an MBA in Finance & Strategy at the University of Sheffield, I bring both technical expertise and analytical depth to my teaching. My strong background in Mathematics and Advanced Mathematics allows me to simplify challenging topics for easier comprehension. My lessons are ideal for secondary school students, university undergraduates, and professionals seeking to strengthen their mathematical foundations or prepare for exams and quantitative courses.
