About Samantha
I have completed a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from a Canadian University, during which I worked as a Teaching Assistant and as a Research Assistant. The majority of my experience has been in Social Sciences (Sociology, Feminist Studies, Latin American and Caribbean Studies). I was awarded a merit-based Scholarship for my own research during my master’s program.
Additionally, I have over 5 years of professional experience in Canadian and International NGOs in which I developed participatory training modules, redacted internal policies, and wrote narrative reports and other documents in English and Spanish.
I have a TEFL certification.

Participatory teaching methods are used to ensure lessons are tailored to your writing goals and level.
Initially, we can agree upon the main focus for the session. Are you writing an essay and looking to improve English mechanics like spelling and grammar? Or would you prefer to work on argumentation and/or organization? Perhaps you looking for resume or interview preparation? Once we agree on the session priorities, together we can begin a focused session to review and troubleshoot in order to build your academic writing skills and confidence.
All levels are welcome for high school or undergraduate-level students who would like to build up their academic writing skills (planning, writing, editing stages welcome) or those working on resume writing.
