About Jake
I am in my fifth year of a chemistry PhD program focusing on organic and inorganic chemistry as well as biochemistry. I have been teaching undergraduate general and organic classes for 9 semesters with positive reviews from both students and my supervisors. I obtained my bachelor of science in chemistry in 2018 and minored in math. During my undergrad, I worked as a tutor and was awarded tutor of the year for my school in 2018.

My approach is to help students worth through practical problems and guide them through sticking points. We can typically begin with reviewing where you understand and work on building toward new subjects. I can help in any undergraduate chemistry course (except physical) and mathematics courses up to calculus I.
