About Emily
I am a graduate student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I am currently completing my student teaching internship at a junior high school in a 9th grade English classroom. I have B.A. in English and tutored at my college campus writing center. I am originally from Montgomery, Alabama but plan to move to Utah after graduation in May 2021.

I can tutor students in grades 7-12 and college students in the following: Reading, Literature, Essay writing, Resume and/or Cover Letter writing, and Academic Writing. When reviewing student essays, I like to have my students read their essays out loud to me so that they can hear what their writing sounds like and if it is coherent. Then, I help them edit and revise their essays in a variety of ways.
