About Darby
I'm a therapist in training who works in social services, primarily. I've worked in addiction and homelessness, and have worked as a teacher and tutor at a long-term family homeless shelter. I mentored and tutored youth for six years, I taught English and other subjects to youth in the Philippines, and I've taught ESL and Citizenship courses with adults in Queens, NYC. My diverse experiences have given me openness to each individuals' needs and learning styles, and cultural awareness as I seek to meet each individual however they feel most comfortable.
