About Alicia
With a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University, I use the skills they gave me in my education to give to you to enhance your own education. My classroom students benefit from not only the subject I teach, but how to study, take tests, and be successful past my class. I was nominated twice for staff member of the week by my peers and my administration. My hard work and dedication to what I provide for my students both educationally and the difference I have made by tailoring how I teach to each student has been recognized and well received by my students, their parents, and staff. I love teaching beyond what I provide educationally, but what I provide as I foster and build a student-teacher relationship that propels learning when trust goes both ways. My classroom students come in and feel safe and well cared for, which is how I would operate tutoring you, as well. Always prepared beforehand, you can guarantee education with efficiency, patience, and a calming sense of reassurance that you CAN do this!

In my classroom, the same as a tutoring session, I tailor my lessons and my teaching approach to you, the student, based off how you learn best! My students benefit from teaching one concept in several different ways to make it make sense to them and you get to be on the receiving end of that, as well! I make learning fun and worthwhile, while fostering a positive and confidence-building learning environment.
