About Tim
I’ve exhibited and sold my own paintings and sculptures. I’ve taught art history, writing, illustration, copywriting, branding and studio classes at universities. I wrote and drew a daily comic strip for 14 years. I’ve written more than 30 books, and I’ve written and directed animation, both in my own commercial studio and in studios producing feature animation. I’m Nelson Mandela’s official biographer, having written and illustrated 12 books on the South African president.
