About Finnian

I have been playing music for 18 years (since I was 5!). I graduated from UNC School of the Arts High School with a focus in violin performance, and from Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a degree in Violin and Viola performance.

About the lesson

My teaching focuses on setting goals and creating plans to reach them. Whether you are picking up the instrument for the first time or preparing for an audition, we can work together to bring your playing to the next level. I have lots of experience across all styles of music, and I can even help you with arranging your favorite pop song.

Finnian is an incredibly adaptive teacher who is able to pinpoint each student’s individual needs. Their compassionate yet methodical approach to pedagogy has helped me grow tremendously as both a violin player and as an individual. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking lessons.
