About Danny

My name is Danny Burke, I am originally from Pearl River, NY and now living in Limerick, Ireland. I am a graduate of the University of Limerick, MA Irish Traditional Music Performance. I also studied sports management for my undergraduate studies in New York. I have always played traditional Irish music professionally, and I am looking to connect with more musicians. I was also involved in the local music scene and I would love to introduce my students and build a community!

About the lesson

I provide one-on-one lessons in the Limerick area. Lessons will be 30 mins / 45 mins / 60 mins long depending on the student's level. I will be teaching traditional Irish music to all ages and levels. There will be a focus on tunes, ornamentation, phrasing, and rhythm. I can also provide Fleadh preparations if the student wishes to compete. I have competed at the Fleadh Cheoil for many years and have earned second and third in piano accordion and piano competition. Look forward to meeting you!
