About Matthew
Hi, I’m Matthew—a 4th-year medical student at UAB (B.S. Neuroscience, M.S. Biomedical Sciences) on the neurosurgery track. I bring a calm, organized, and professional style to every session: clear explanations, active-recall practice, and practical test-taking strategies that build confidence fast. I’ve coached pre-meds, undergrads, and early medical students in MCAT sections, NBME/shelf strategy, neuroscience, A&P, and biostats, and I tailor plans to each learner’s goals, timeline, and strengths.
Students can expect punctuality, thorough preparation, and respectful communication. I use evidence-based study methods (spaced repetition, error-logging, and targeted drills), and I share simple frameworks you can reuse across classes and exams. I’m happy to coordinate with your syllabus, lab notes, or practice exams so our time is efficient and focused.
