About Jacqueline
My dance education began in 2009, when I started Ballroom Dancing. My genres included Rock and Roll, Waltz, Foxtrot.
In 2017 I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and Performance, during which I worked part time as a group fitness instructor. My degree gave me training and skills to develop performances as well as perform professionally on the stage, built characterisation, and direct, stage manage and choreograph on a professional level.
After graduating with this degree, I have acted in, directed and stage managed several productions and performances.
In 2018, I changed my dance background to Latin dancing, focusing on Salsa and Bachata. I am trained in and teach both partnered and solo dance.
In January 2020, I began working with a dance fitness company, focusing on Musical Theatre Dance.
There is so much to gain from dance, some of which includes fitness, joy, confidence, musicality, a new skill, a hobby, self expression, self understanding and appreciation. These are some of the benefits Ihope to bring to others!
