About Nidhi
As a tutor who has utilized various online platforms as a means to conduct sessions,I have come to understand the importance of creating an engaging and interactive session.
One way I do this is by condensing my lessons into PowerPoint visuals. The visuals help to keep our students engaged; certain platforms allow us to share the pre-prepped visuals with the student so they can write down what they observe almost immediately.In maths for example after explaining a concept I ask my students to quickly add a note explaining the concept in the way they best interpreted it.
Creating these condensed presentations helps the students pace themselves according to their preference while also having the option to return to these lessons and their saved notes when they choose to do so.
While conducting online sessions, I use the aid of several supplementary resources such as videos , audio clips etc. , they help in keeping our sessions interactive and I have found that certain concepts are grasped better when their use and real-life purpose are explained .
