About Constance
I am an Australian writer who lives and works on Kabi Kabi and Jinibara land. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Creative and Professional Writing (with Distinction) from Queensland University of Technology. In 2023, I was named an emerging writer to watch by the State Library of Queensland and a runner-up in the Young Writers Award. In 2024, I'm studying under acclaimed Australian author, Claire Thomas, as a part of the highly competitive Kill Your Darlings mentorship program for which I received funding by Regional Arts Australia. Then, I will attend an independent writing residency in Kavala, Greece to continue work on my first novel.

School can be tricky, especially if you're not interested in what you're learning about. I pride myself on teaching students the essentials while also fostering passion for subjects like English and Literature.
I keep my lessons casual in language because there's nothing worse than wordy jargon! Writing and creating is vulnerable work so my lessons are a judgement-free zone. My only goal is that we work together to produce stories, essays, monologues, and speeches that you are proud of.
In my four years as a tutor, I've found that hour-long lessons work most effectively.
