About Karim
I’m a very sociable and outgoing person who genuinely enjoys helping others and giving back to the community. I’ve always loved working with people, and tutoring is a way for me to support kids and make learning feel less stressful and more enjoyable. I was part of a football team for years, and football is still a big part of my life—it taught me teamwork, discipline, and how to stay motivated, all qualities I bring into my teaching. When I tutor, I balance being fun with being serious. I make sure the student understands the material, but I also believe that learning should be comfortable and not overwhelming. That’s why I like to include short 5-minute breaks during lessons where we can chat, relax, and reset. I find that these small conversations help students stay focused, reduce stress, and make the whole experience more enjoyable. My goal is to create a positive connection with every student so they feel supported, confident, and comfortable asking questions. I want kids to see that learning can be fun, and that with the right help, they can do much better than they think.

My tutoring approach is based on keeping things clear, calm, and easy to understand. I explain concepts step by step, use simple examples, and make sure the student understands before moving on. A typical lesson starts with a quick review, then learning a new idea, practicing it together, and ending with a short summary to check understanding.
What makes me different as a tutor is that I’m very patient and good at turning difficult topics into something simple. I adjust my teaching style depending on the student—some learn best with visuals, some with examples, and some with lots of practice.
My lessons are for younger students who need help with math, as well as high school students studying Business or Economics. Whether they need homework help, exam prep, or just clearer explanations, I support them at their own pace and help them feel more confident in the subject.
