About Alessia
In prehistoric times I attended the Classical High School, becoming passionate about classical teachings, history, translations from Latin and Greek. I graduated with honors in History of Art and Archeology, with a thesis in Contemporary Art and another. on Cinema and TV. In my life I have done many things, working in museums, in film productions, project management, but my passion has always been teaching. I gave private lessons in history, Latin, sometimes philosophy, art. In the meantime I am also preparing for the next (hopefully) competition for the Public School. At the moment I work at a Business School that deals with professional training, taking care of the placement of graduates.

What I propose is not a necessarily defined method. What can help learning, lies in the professional skills but above all in the psycho-pedagogical ones of the teacher; for this reason I always adapt my lessons to the individual interests of the student.
Multidisciplinary approach, NO to notions. Music, literature, history, philosophy, art, cinema and why not, contemporary culture and lots of interaction; but obviously also DATES, EVENTS and GRAMMAR!
I believe that learning these subjects cannot be confined to static fields and disciplines, as if learning were something that proceeds in sealed compartments. In addition to the classic lecture, I try to keep students' interest alive, actively involving them in research, exercises and reflections, making sure they have as much time as possible to concentrate, maximize learning opportunities and, of course, overcome problems!
