About Hakan

I am a mechanical engineer, university research assistant, and PhD student specializing in thermal and fluid sciences. I hold a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on thermodynamics and energy systems.

Since 2022, I have supported university students through laboratory sessions, engineering courses, and problem-solving activities. My academic and technical experience covers mathematics, physics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, CFD, numerical methods, ANSYS Fluent, and OpenFOAM.

I am patient, organized, and committed to explaining complex subjects in a clear and approachable way. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, strengthening their fundamentals, and developing the confidence to solve problems independently.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, practical, and adapted to each student’s level and goals. I begin by identifying the student’s strengths and difficulties, then explain the underlying concepts clearly before moving to worked examples and guided problem-solving.

A typical lesson includes a short review, step-by-step explanation, practice questions, and a final summary. I focus on developing genuine understanding rather than memorizing formulas, and I use engineering examples to connect theory with real applications.

As a mechanical engineering research assistant, I combine academic knowledge with hands-on experience in laboratory work, numerical methods, CFD, ANSYS Fluent, and OpenFOAM. My lessons are suitable for high-school students studying mathematics or physics, as well as university students studying thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, engineering mathematics, or CFD. Lessons can also be tailored for exam preparation, assignments, and engineering projects.
