About Laura
Hi, I'm Laura, and I'm 26 years old. I am currently a psychologist trainee at the Neuropsychiatry Center for Childhood and Adolescence. Teaching has always been my passion !! I have experience as a school and home educator, my university and post education has allowed me over the years to help children, from the largest to the smallest, in the study. This was possible thanks to the use of specific techniques that enhance attention, memorization, processing in general and problem solving skills, functional requirements for the learning of the different didactic subjects and which help to bring out and make available the resources of each child, up to independently address the school context. Techniques and materials to be used specifically for each one, based on the skills and needs that emerge during the study. I believe that study and school in general is the primary context to any other during the school age, from which all those skills that can be generalized to all other life contexts are born and strengthened, and therefore it becomes important to intervene more promptly on the difficulties that over time I can influence the sense of self-efficacy of young people in the first place.

Usually my lessons can last 1 and a half or two hours, or even less depending on the teaching load and the needs of the students. My main goal, before knowing the information and school material, is the autonomy of the pupils. I work alongside the students with a non-judgmental or demanding attitude, but as a resource who is interested in quality rather than quantity, a person who can teach and provide the right tools so that everyone's strengths emerge and the limits that can be accepted are accepted. be managed and dealt with slowly. Each tool is used according to the needs that emerge, paying attention also to their introduction and acceptance given the frequent fatigue that one encounters every time one encounters one's own limits.
