About María Isabel
I am an English teacher for Spanish students and a Spanish teacher for foreign audiences (preferably English speakers). I have a degree in English Studies from the University of Seville and I have a Master's Degree in Teaching English for secondary, FP and Language Schools. Regarding the teaching of Spanish, I have a double degree from the University of Seville and the Instituto Cervantes that accredits me to teach my mother tongue. I have several years of experience giving private lessons in both languages. My specialty is two-way teaching: Spanish for English speaking students and English for Spanish speaking students.

My methodology focuses mainly on the communicative approach. The main objective of a language is its communicative use, so in my classes I try to provide a relaxed and comfortable environment for the student to express themselves without fear or shame. Gamification is also a technique widely used in my classes, with the intention of acquiring the language almost unconsciously thanks to its playful nature. However, despite these two main methodological lines, grammatical explanations also play a fundamental role in each language class, and will be provided regularly.
