About Emine
I recently finished my PhD in Biomedical Engineering in Portugal, and have been living in different cities in Europe for almost 5 years now. I already taught Turkish to two Americans when I was in Turkey, which was an incredibly fun journey for me as well! Now, after meeting many people who are interested in Turkish and Turkish culture, I decided to help those who want to learn Turkish. I am quite a friendly and patient person, I personally know learning a new language can be quite challenging, and sometimes frustrating, as I am also actively learning Portuguese and Italian. When I was giving Turkish lessons to foreigners in Turkey, I focused on their needs and purposes for taking this course with me. If you are a complete beginner, we will cover some grammar rules using .pdf files and videos. Depending on your level, I try to keep my classes interactive, covering both listening and speaking practices. I believe learning a new language is only possible by exposing yourself to that, not through following only the grammar books. Therefore, you will see a mix of harmony of grammar, listening, and speaking exercises, where I can actively correct your mistakes and help you to be better. I am also quite open to any suggestions from you to match with your needs! :)
