About Helen
My name is Helen and will become to be a Music private tutor/teacher. There are reasons to why I want to teach students in piano because I do believe that every student have the ability to learn and explore new techniques and skills as well as improving their understanding and knowledge through both practical and theoretical side. I also do strongly believe that every student will become better learners as they progress through their learning journey. It is important as a music teacher to provide them with support and goals that will help them to achieve their learning skills and understanding and to ensure they meet the requirements given to them.

I strongly believe every student have the right and ability to learn and improve their techniques and skills.
The techniques and teaching methodology will involve:
- teaching students learn to read and write notes through sight read and theory work
- teaching them how to count beats e.g minim (white note) for 2 beats
- getting students to practice reading time signatures
- teaching students using the correct fingerings whilst playing songs
- providing them with some homework practice after lessons
- teaching them to understand how key signatures work and what keys they are in as well as how dynamics and symbols work.
For beginners, the length of lesson will be half an hour until once they are comfortable and ready, their length may increase.
As For intermediate - advanced level:
- an hour for each student
