About Akhil Artist
Akhil Sharma is an aspiring Indian songwriter, music composer/producer, lyricist and singer who hails from Jammu and Kashmir.
He is known by the name AKHIL ARTIST.
He graduated from the World’s No. 1. where he got the opportunity to learn music from lectures who are a recipient of the Grammy Award.
Akhil always had a love and passion for music ever since he was a child and began his music training at a very young age at home all by himself. He started his music journey much before in 2012.
He has been playing various instruments like piano, flute, drums, harmonium and guitar being his favourite.
He also has a keen interest in beatboxing and finger drumming.
Along with music production and composition he also does mixing and mastering of his tracks.
He has also been certified in Film Making and Direction & Data analytics as well. He has recorded various tracks and released various Singles like
Lost our love, Tera Intezaaar and many more.
He also released an EP ‘siXXX’ consisting of 6 tracks in the Electronic genre.
In addition to Hindi, he has sung in English, Punjabi, Dogri and Spanish.
Recently, in March, 2021 he released an album titled “Nine Nine” which comprised of 14 songs highlighting Mental Health issues featuring various artists across the globe.
Growing up, he listened to Green day, Beethoven and Indian classical music. He idolized musicians like Billie Joe Armstrong, Pandit Ravi Shankar
and enjoyed listening to Kishore Kumar, Mana Dey, Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar and Jagjit Singh.
Akhil is currently working with an international label/Distribution named BELIEVE Music from FRANCE.
Akhil thinks that music is the only medication which can heal both body and the soul.
For him music is the only means which can never be restricted but can only prevail love and life together.
