About Sacha

I was lucky to have teachers who gave me tools and methods that were useful throughout my schooling and in my internship. I know how difficult and overwhelming it can be when these tools are lacking. The results can be disappointing despite hard work.
I want to pass on what I have learned so that everyone can maximize the results of their work and flourish in their studies.
In the past I have been able to help students preparing for the oral exam at Sciences Po. I was also a member of a tutoring program within my high school to help students having difficulty adapting to high school requirements. These two experiences were very enriching and today I wish to once again help students achieve their goals.

About the lesson

My course is aimed at middle school or high school students who have difficulty with the methodology, who would like to improve their working method or who need support in certain subjects. I can also help students with good results who wish to improve themselves with a view to an exam ("concours", Bac...) or an oral (grand oral, Sciences Po, Business School...). Finally, I can also help higher education students on methodology.

I try as much as possible to transmit tools and methods that allow students to be autonomous quickly. The idea is not to learn a lesson by heart for an exam but to acquire reflexes that will be useful throughout your student life and afterwards (how to organize your thinking, take notes, summarize a document, techniques for learning a course, finding a "problématique", organize your essay (french way ("Plan") or english way), having a clear and concise style ...) In this sense I like to think of the course as a work of maieutics where I guide the student in their personal reflection as much as they need but I give them the chance to come up with the solution on their own. I hope to be able to reinforce the thinking skills of the student in the long term and to strengthen their confidence in those skills.

In-depth work may also be necessary, whether by memorizing lessons or by making exercises and I do not neglect this aspect to which I try to apply the same philosophy.

The structure of the course depends on the needs of the student and the subjects concerned. It also depends on the context (preparation for a specific exam, help with a particular assignment or more general support).
