Within schools in the UK, each subject has a 1 hour lesson. I usually begin with an intro to recap/ test prior knowledge. I then move onto the key objective of the lesson, that could be new vocab or facts. I would then add a fun activity. Finally i would end the lesson with a plenary, something to recap what the student has remembered from the lesson. This would help with overall memory retention.
I've worked with pupils aged 4-14. I have lots of experience in a primary setting, however I have taught in private language centres with older students.
