My teaching method is very personable and easygoing. I like to go by the mantra of teaching tried and true principles and allowing the student to apply those principles in a hands on manner that breaks them out of their apprehensions and helps them to open up their skill set. I like to observe what a student does and how they approach their work and see how I can help them to improve in a way that will best suit the student's needs. I like to tailor my teaching as closely as possible to what the student needs and the student's personal goals whether that is to become professional at drawing/design or simply to improve one's skills. I'm pretty down to earth. I will provide open, honest, and frank critique with no frills, but I always encourage and seek to positively uplift my students.
My typical lesson plan is one hour long once per week for seven weeks. My main focuses will be on drawing and basic design fundamentals.
