About Maria

I am a qualified vocal coach and singing teacher graduated from the Italian Conservatory. I have been singing since I was 6 years old and my mission is to make you fall in love with singing. Together, singing will become easy to you.

You will also be able to discover with me: whistle register, belting, mixed voice, strohbass, growl, screaming, covered voice, agility, «chest do» and many other things that belong to singing.
I teach the following styles:

modern singing (mixed voice, belting, rock)
opera singing (belcanto, verismo, crossover)

About the lesson

I am a specialized singing teacher and researcher of the human voice, I have experience in teaching adults and children. The first desired results will be obtained already after the first meeting and I will help you to acquire your professional voice in the shortest possible time. How do I do it? My method combines emotions and a deep scientific knowledge of the vocal apparatus.

In the 2000s French and American scientists including Roubeau B., Bernardoni N., Castellengo M. discovered 4 registers of the human voice. They are simple mechanisms that allow any voice, both male and female, to have 4-4.5 octaves of vocal range, they are called M0, M1, M2, M3. I have deepened this scientific discovery and have elaborated some advice on how to use the registers for each type of voice (soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor, baritone and bass) applicable on the most practiced singing styles (modern, lyric).

In the first lesson I will analyze your voice in detail and then I will draw the individual plan of the 4 registers with all the passing notes. It will be immediately clear what type of voice you have and how the registers are distributed over your entire vocal range. In addition, I will show you the current anatomical location of your voice, which will allow you to understand which resonators you are using and if you are doing it correctly. So during the first lesson you will understand: what kind of voice you have, if you use all the registers, if you sing using the right resonators (mask) and if your breathing support works correctly (the main components of the professional voice).

In 5 lessons I will let you discover the notes of your voice that you have never tried, I will open the full range, I will provide tips for your breathing support and the real masked sound. Starting from scratch, in one year under my guidance you will have the professional voice for modern singing and in 2 years the professional voice for opera singing.
