About Me
Hey! I’m Mihai — a Romanian native, UCLA student, and someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and making learning feel natural (not like school ).
I’ve had a pretty diverse journey so far — from working in finance at companies like Mastercard and in M&A, to writing stock market insights read by thousands of investors. But alongside all the numbers and business stuff, one thing has always stayed constant: I love working with people.
I’ve led teams, built a nonprofit that helped students get into U.S. universities, and coached younger students — so I know how to adapt to different personalities, keep things engaging, and actually make learning stick.
When it comes to teaching Romanian, I keep it simple:
we talk, we laugh, we use real-life situations, and you learn without even realizing it.
Outside of that, I’m into sports (basketball & jiu-jitsu), business, and anything that challenges me.
