About Tanner
I graduated from the University of Illinois with a Fine Arts Degree and took multiple drawing classes that helped develop my skills and sense of art. My work was chosen to be featured in multiple school exhibits throughout the years. Before that though, I was already a well-developed artist that was completely self-taught in a few years during high school. I had a very fast growth and I believe that I can help others achieve this as well. I started drawing because of anime and manga, so I can teach any style of this medium, as well as realism and semi-realistic styles.

I have strong fundamentals in drawing a wide range of subjects. If you need help in anything from portraits, figure, or perspective drawings I can always help! If you're completely new to drawing we can go over the basics as well and work your way towards creating what you want! I want to create a fun lesson plan that balances practicing what is necessary and creating stuff you actually enjoy, so I will work with you to find out what you want to improve on what you enjoy drawing. I would love to help out beginner and intermediate artists. A typical lesson would start off with covering what you may have created since we last talked, and going over what you feel like you did well vs what you didn't. From there we can go over exercises to help improve what you want, then start on a new "project" to come in with next time.
