About Maurice
I am a first-class graduate from the University of Oxford in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. I have tutored Edexcel Politics A-Level for many years, ever since I received an A* in 2019.
Politics A-Level is all about building confidence at writing very specific essay types. A key part of my tutoring approach is on encouraging students to write. Students who use me as a tutor and work hard, will go into the exam confident they can ace every single type of essay.

Many tutors lecture; I coach. Since A-Level Politics is all about essay writing, that is exactly where we focus. Every session involves live writing and immediate reflection.
I specialise in working with Year 12 students, giving them the runway to practise and build confidence in every single topic and essay type by the time they reach exams.
Having mentored dozens of students, I also combine subject experience with general mentorship on how to revise and prepare for their A-Levels.
