About Alexus
Hi there! Academics has always been my strong suit and I am happy to share the tools I had that made me successful from high school and beyond. In high school, I graduated valedictorian as well as receiving a state-wide award for exemplary academic achievement. At the time of earning my dual degree in bioengineering and mechanical engineering I was named the top student in my program by the university faculty. I have used my studies to fuel my work at national labs, such as the National Ignition Facility, as well as biomedical labs at the University of Michigan. I am constantly working toward learning new things, and am applying for medical schools this year.

In my sessions I like to focus on breaking down the problem solving into repeatable steps for each student. The step-by-step breakdown is individualized for each student and focuses on how to make movement to the next step fluid and easy to remember! This method is best suited for multi-step math, chemistry or physics problems, from middle school math to entry level college.
