About Megan
School can be hard, trust me when I say that. I've been a student before and I know how difficult certain subjects can be, especially when it is one we are not passionate about. My goal isn't to teach you passion, but rather to help you understand that when it comes to anything literary-focused, you already have the ability to succeed. It is just a matter of understanding writing and figuring out the kind of writer you are, how to implement your skill set, and how to understand it. Though I studied Journalism at a University, I ultimately received my degree in Communications from a local community College. I am beyond grateful for my experience learning at a high level, as it taught me the foundation of writing. Although my passion and skill have become what it was due to practicing and research. Aside from my experience, I want to note I thrive off of humor and not taking things too seriously. I hope to be someone anyone can feel comfortable and themselves around, as well as feel like there is no question not worth asking me!

Literature has been the center of my world for over a decade. Whether it be my experience with published poetry, or learning the ins and outs of the Journalism world from a high-level university... my ability to produce compelling and creative work is one that is promising. I am a very personable, extroverted individual who thrives on humor and connection. With over seven years of experience working with children, my teaching methods could aid someone in first grade, all the way to the collegiate level. When it comes to my techniques, I like to help people first understand the art of writing. Writing is individual and personal, and all have the ability to tell a story, whether it be fiction, truth, or a simple nursery rhyme sentence. My goal is to help with understanding even a basic sentence structure, to understanding ways to make an informative speech less overwhelming to write, all the way to aiding someone in writing their own creative story!
