About Stephanie
My experience in high school was particularly challenging as I had undiagnosed ADHD at the time and was struggling to keep on top of everything and put an immense amount of pressure on myself. I became a teacher because I wanted to make sure all students felt included and catered for in a classroom, and that no matter their academic ability, they were loved.
I love teaching and have become extremely passionate about advocating for the needs of not only neurodivergent students but also neurodivergent and disabled teachers, as I believe all students would benefit from adults who are more like them.
I'm a confident and enthusiastic teacher, my brain is full of maths and science but also very bizarre facts, and I'm an excellent listener. If you're having trouble with a topic, my approach will never be to just tell you off or repeat the same thing over and over - I'll be passionate about my teaching and your learning and strive to give you the best experience with learning. I'm not afraid to say that I don't know the answer to a question and will make sure to find out the answer for you.

I'm 25 years old and have 2.5 years of teaching experience in a challenging high school. I'm passionate about what I do and I take great pride in ensuring I cater my teaching methods and lessons and teaching towards my students.
I have a degree in Biomedical Science so am extremely passionate about biology and chemistry, but also have completed elective subjects at a university level for maths and physics (up to second year).
Typically I would tutor high school aged students (anywhere from year 7-12) for whatever time you may need, but on average for an hour. I'm extremely familiar with Stage 1 and 2 SACE subjects and have experience tutoring and teaching the maths and science subjects.
