About Mauro
I have a diverse professional background across multiple industries, supported by strong interpersonal and communication skills. In 2020, I completed a degree in Sports Performance Analysis at the University of Suffolk, where I also gained valuable experience volunteering within a professional football environment at Ipswich Town FC.
My football experience includes coaching, recruitment analysis, and scouting, providing me with a practical understanding of player identification and performance evaluation. In 2022, I further developed my industry knowledge by completing a Master’s degree in Football Business at UCFB, alongside working for a Sports Management Company, gaining insight into the commercial and operational side of football.
I currently work as a Physical Activity Caseworker at Great Yarmouth Borough Council, contributing to Sport England’s Place Partnership project, which focuses on increasing physical activity levels and reducing health inequalities. Alongside this role, I am also involved in the Eat Well and Thrive (EAT) project, supporting healthy weight initiatives and promoting balanced lifestyles by making positive, sustainable change accessible to local communities.
In addition to my public sector work, I have undertaken scouting and analysis roles for Spanish third-division clubs and have worked with Premier League football agents, delivering recruitment-focused scouting and player analysis.
