About Selma

As a dedicated college student double majoring in Biology and Psychology at UIC, I bring both academic excellence and a deep understanding of how students learn best. I’ve spent years mastering the same material my students are navigating, which means I can explain concepts in a way that’s clear, relatable, and effective. My tutoring style is professional, patient, and encouraging—I meet students where they are and help them build confidence through structured support and real-world study strategies. Whether you’re preparing for exams or need consistent help throughout the semester, I’m here to help you succeed with knowledge, empathy, and reliability.

About the lesson

Looking for a tutor who truly gets what it’s like to be a student? I offer personalized, easy-to-understand lessons tailored to your learning style. Whether you're struggling to keep up or aiming to get ahead, my goal is to make learning less stressful and more effective. With experience in biology, psychology, and other core subjects, I help students build confidence, improve grades, and develop real understanding—not just memorization. Let’s make school easier, together.
