About Magdy

I am a qualified Graphic Designer (Diploma of Graphic design 2011), certified trainer and assessor (TAE 40110) and working as full time VIT registered secondary teacher.

Demonstrating a strong creativity in establishing a logic procedure for any course module. Starting with the concept development of the brief; storyboard the eLearning design process; researching and conceptualizing the main brief core; approaching the interactive engagement; analysing the module content and, finding the efficient visual aspect and solutions; finalizing the course structure delivery process with successful and effective time frame.

I manage strong skills in Concept Development: refine the approach to the modules ideas a context, designing the module elements to scaffold and engage student in effective learning, and finalizing the outcome reports.

My tertiary education experience at TAFE, provides me with solid knowledge of the effective online teaching/learning benchmarking, emphasizing on interaction and engagement in its best practices. I ensure, that student interaction with their learning goals, teachers, and other students is an essential factor, and is facilitated through multiple ways.

My creative process in developing the learner’s concept using instructional strategies that responds to the needs and direction of industry and training package requirements. I constantly, ensure that feedback to student assignment is constructive and provided in a timely manner.

I have motivated learners and ignite their creative flare to initiate and manage community projects, from concept development to the finished product. This process included developing creative briefs and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the student's objective.

Through mentoring, supervising, and proposing time schedules, students achieve the best of their ability to meet their projects deadline within professional and high quality specifications.

About the lesson

As a graphic designer, tutor and assessor; my approach within teaching graphic design and visual arts industry integrates theory and practice. In my class, I teach creativity for students to explore the concept of typography, imagery and multimedia in design.

Teaching secondary and tertiary education level, design student needs a strong foundation of design principles, the graphics primarily for printing, web design, social media, brochures and advertisements. Therefore, my lessons are engaging, fun and industry focused. During an hour lesson period, student can learn using interactive course, multimedia and games. My core concept as a designer/tutor is to present the lesson information in a visual form that is accessible and memorable.

Focusing on design principles, design elements and practice design projects essential to master any student skills, which build a strong foundation. I teach the hands-on approach of communication design that foster VCE and VCAL student to explore their talent and become creative designers.

As a tertiary educator, I have been responsible to develop the learner’s creative thinking and problem solving, and deliver a comprehensive industry focused and hands-on approaches of digital and print production.

I have passion to teach the diploma level and, a wealth of skills to engage the students to learn creative design process. I ensure that; a consistent delivery of innovative course and assessment feedback method align to meet the accredited VCAL and TAFE qualifications and skill set.
