About Takuya

I am a 2nd generation Japanese-American who grew up in a Japanese household. My parents wanted to make sure I was bilingual by speaking Japanese to me at home, taking me to Japanese school on Saturday, taking me to Japan during the summer for foreign exchange student experience, and we also moved to Japan for two years to experience the schooling and culture of Japan.

About the lesson

My lessons include: watching anime and translating what they are saying, having conversations that could be used in your day-to-day life, and going step-by-step in reducing any accents that you may have to sound more natural. Your lessons could be personalized to your reason of wanting to learn Japanese and make it more fun to learn!
