About Sarah
I am a student of Spanish and Italian at the University of Oxford and I am passionate about helping others both learn languages from scratch or improve their skills. Previously, I have given Spanish conversation classes to sixth form students and I have mentored candidates for GCSE English Language. I understand languages can be challenging so I seek to use creative and practical ways to apply language learning by combining it with learning about culture and literature of the target language.

I understand languages can be challenging so I seek to use creative and practical ways to apply language learning by combining it with learning about culture and literature of the target language. I am able to give beginner lessons in English, Spanish and Italian from beginner up to level B2 (includes GCSE & A level). Since I am a native English speaker, I am able to give advanced classes at C2 level. I structure my lessons based on the specific needs of each student, taking into account the ways they learn, think and interact. I seek to use an approach which combines traditional grammar learning with games, music, poetry and translation to make the lessons more engaging.
