About Aurora
I am an experienced Chemistry tutor with over 11 years in the field and a MSc in Supramolecular Chemistry. My passion lies in materials science and polymer chemistry, where I explore how we design new materials and understand their properties. My teaching method in Chemistry focuses on making tough concepts clear and turning them into practical skills. I teach core topics like acid-base chemistry, pH calculations, titration, and buffer solutions with a focus on understanding and application. I emphasise the importance of chemical equilibrium as the backbone of these areas. Students practise solving problems that link equilibrium with calculations and experiments. Through repetition and guided problem-solving, they gain confidence and speed. I encourage students to think logically and apply methods instead of memorising. My lessons are interactive, with constant feedback to correct mistakes early. For Olympiad contestants and researchers, I use advanced-level problems that push their abilities further. I help them refine strategies to approach multi-step and tricky calculations. I also highlight real-world applications, making the subject relevant and engaging. This keeps motivation strong and builds curiosity. Each lesson is structured but adapted to individual needs. My goal is to support students until they excel in both understanding and performance. Chemistry becomes not only manageable but exciting under this approach.
