About Aubrey
I am a passionate vocal tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience, dedicated to helping students grow with confidence and creativity.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Voice Emphasis, which shapes my strong technical and artistic foundation.
My teaching style is balanced, combining structured learning with freedom for personal expression.
I believe every voice is unique and deserves to be developed with care and patience.
I guide students through a variety of genres so they can explore and discover their true musical identity.
Along with singing techniques, I include ear training to improve pitch accuracy and listening skills.
I also teach harmony to help students understand how music connects and flows.
Improvisation is an important part of my lessons, allowing students to build creativity and confidence.
Music theory is introduced in a simple and practical way so students can apply it directly while singing.

My singing methodology helps both Adult Beginners and Advanced Teens discover their unique vocal identity through creativity, structure, and consistent practice.
For the Adult Beginner, I focus on building confidence first, using simple vocal tone shaping exercises to unlock a natural and comfortable sound.
They learn step by step, without pressure, exploring their voice in a safe and encouraging space.
For the Advanced Teen, I refine tone, control, and expression while pushing artistic boundaries through more challenging material.
Song interpretation is central for both personas.
Students use lyric analysis sheets to understand emotion, meaning, and intention behind every line they sing.
This helps transform singing from just hitting notes into powerful storytelling through music.
I guide them to connect personally with songs so their voice feels authentic and expressive.
Genre exploration plays a key role in growth.
Adult Beginners experiment with different styles to discover what suits their voice, while Advanced Teens expand versatility and develop a signature sound.
Improvisation exercises and melody trainers strengthen creativity, pitch accuracy, and musical confidence.
Students also maintain vocal journals to track progress, reflect on challenges, and celebrate improvement.
We integrate DAWs for recording and playback, helping them hear, analyze, and refine their voice with clarity.
This complete approach builds not just skill, but a confident and expressive musical identity.
