About Aly
Hi, I’m Aly, a professional singer and vocal coach with over 10 years of teaching experience and more than 15 years of international performing experience.
I’ve taught private singing lessons, group classes, and extended vocal technique workshops across the UK, India, the US, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Argentina.
My professional performance career has included touring internationally with The Boxettes, backing vocals for Jarvis Cocker, lead vocals for Shlomo and the Vocal Orchestra, and performing with Submotion Orchestra.
Devoting my life to singing since age 8 at Salisbury Cathedral, then Wells Cathedral followed by the Guildhall School of Music.
As a songwriter and recording artist, I’ve created music for adverts, recorded multiple projects, and had releases connected with Universal Music Publishing Group and Audio Network.
I've trained with some of the top vocal coaches in the country and know vocal technique inside out. But more importantly, let's talk about YOU.
Beyond technique, there's something incredible that happens as you move from singing for performance to singing to truly freeing your voice.
When you move out of your own way. When you move beyond forcing, fixing, pushing and straining and you set your voice free.
This is when singing becomes so much more than just sounding good. It becomes a way to experience pleasure, express joy, reconnect with yourself, and simply have fun. It is in these moments of safety that our voices naturally begin to open.
My teaching style combines technique with warmth, trauma-informed coaching and confidence-building, and helping each student discover their natural voice.
Whether you’re a beginner or experienced singer, lessons are tailored to your goals.
For students who are interested in diving deeply into the emotional connection between their voice and body. I also integrate somatic voice work, nervous system support, and gentle parts-based approaches to help release tension, build confidence, and free the voice at a deeper level.
