About Vincenzo
My name is Vincenzo Capodivento.
I'm a musician (Guitar and Bass), music producer, mixing engineer and (when no one's listening) I'm also a Drummer and a Piano player.
I love music and can't get enough of it, that's why for the past 7 years I've been playing with cover bands, original artists, theatre shows, producing music and mixing music. I have a very wide skillset and deep understanding of music from theory, composition, songwriting and arranging; and I bring all of it to you, in the hope that I can inspire you and empower you to become a better musician and a happier human being.

I think of music as a language. Having been a non-native English speaker that has moved to the UK in his teens to study and pursue music, I know a thing or two about learning a language to fluency.
The key element for me is speaking the language. Learning music is therefore (in my opinion) mostly about playing music. Think about it, you wouldn't ask a footballer to get better at football by spending all their's time in the gym, there's a place and time for that but it's a supplementary activity.
I try to get my students to play as much as possible and learn music that they'd like to learn, often designing exercises around it to help work on specific skills that they lack. Music shouldn't be a chore, it should be challenging, but fun nonetheless.
I teach students of all ages and level of expertise, wether they just want to learn for fun or they are aiming for a grade system, the only requirement is passion for music and their instrument.
